Psoriasis is a common long term skin disease characterised by red, dry, itchy scaly patches most commonly at knee, elbows, trunk & scalp. It is long term due to it tends to go through cycle, flaring for few time then subsiding for a while or goes into remission. This cycle causes due to its roots were deeply situated in the system and dosha cycle of dominance and subjugation due to various reasons. The vitiated doshas are responsible for change in skin texture and complexion and results into the disrespectful skin disorder known as Kustha. Kustha need to various panchakarma therapies and ayurvedic medicine along with the diet and lifestyle modification.
